Stephen Colbert Wins Again!

Oh lordy, he did it again. On Tuesday, March 3rd, Stephen Colbert asked his audience to partake in NASA's vote to name a new room at the international space station. Not surprisingly, fans of the Colbert Report turned out for the charismatic host in huge numbers. MSNBC is reporting 230,539 write in votes for Colbert. That beat out all four suggested names by NASA.
That clobbered Serenity, one of the NASA choices, by more than 40,000 votes. Nearly 1.2 million votes were cast by the time the contest ended Friday.
One slight fork in the road, NASA reserves the right to pick whichever name it wants. It says it will give the winner serious consideration, but that is a non-answer if I've ever heard one. Should be an interesting Colbert Report tonight.
